A first in Sitiawan. It was a surprise to dine at this restaurant today. We had Argentina steak, white wine clams and seafood. This is a restaurant you won't be ashamed to take your date to. Service was great. You will be greeted by the door, seated and attended to promptly. There's about 6 staff outside and 5 in kitchen to ensure quality service. Salad was super fresh and steak nicely done. Service was very good and you get a bottle of water too. Place was full when we visited but they were well organized. I guess they hv a bakery there too and have wonderful desserts which we weren't able to try this time. The only thing missing is wine but we will bring one the next time we dine here. This place is highly recommended and if they can keep the quality, hands down, it's among the best western food in Sitiawan. Keep up the good work. It's service and quality here.

We came on Sunday after lunch hour and the seating was almost full. It’s a small, cosy café with limited seating, so it can get crowded — best to make a reservation during peak hours. We ordered the tiramisu and the pandan mango cake — both were delicious. The tiramisu was creamy with a nice balance of coffee flavour, while the pandan mango cake was light, fruity, and refreshing. The cappuccino was decent and paired well with the cakes. The price of the cakes is on the higher side, but the quality and presentation make up for it. The café also serves food and pasta, though we didn’t try those this round. Overall, a pleasant spot for dessert and coffee if you don’t mind the limited space and slightly higher price.

Lamb shank is great. Risotto to be improved, prawn not so fresh. Fried calamari is great too. A shoutout for their truffle mushroom soup. Hope could be better in future. If u looking for a decent western cuisine, this it is.

Had a great experience at Someday Cafe! The fish and chips were excellent - crispy batter, fresh fish, and a really good portion for the price. We upgraded to sea bass which was the right choice. The tartar sauce was the real star, definitely not the usual store-bought kind. They also served it with pea mash, which is something you don’t see often in most places. Nice to see them keeping things authentic! The mushroom carbonara was rich and creamy, and the truffle fries were a solid choice - good portion and totally worth it. For dessert, the profiteroles were decent. I liked the ice cream filling, but the dark chocolate sauce and pastry were quite bitter. Maybe that’s the authentic way to do it, but I personally would have preferred a milk chocolate sauce for better balance. The tiramisu was also on the stronger, slightly bitter side - again, probably more traditional since classic tiramisu is made with espresso-soaked ladyfingers and cocoa powder. Just a heads-up if you prefer a sweeter, creamier version. Service was excellent - attentive, friendly, and fast. Definitely a place worth checking out, especially if you appreciate authentic French-inspired dishes. Never thought I’ll find an amazing cafe like this in a small town. Looking forward to trying the seafood risotto and crème brûlée next time!

We were celebrating a birthday and decided to try out this cafe. It was an excellent choice. The food was fabulous. Everything was delicious, from salad to the main dishes. My only complaint is not generous with the sauce for the chicken chop. The mushroom aglio olio was full of ingredients. The best of the best was the desserts. Perfect sweetness of the matcha burnt cheesecake and tiramisu. Great service, beautifully designed interior, meticulous decors (love the tiny door bell) and cosy atmosphere. Definitely will be our regular dining place.

Really love it here. Come for western food if u are craving for it. The tiramisu with alcohol is super good. Same goes to the salmon salad. So generous serving.

Ordered coq au vin and crème brûlée. Coq au vin (10/10). Idk it was just really comforting and the stomach ache i had when I came in disappeared after taking a bite. Chicken was tender and detached from the bone effortlessly. The butter mashed potatoes combined with the sauce and soft vegetables made it a delicious warm comforting meal. Obviously there is bias here but if you want hearty dish this is honestly it. Crème brûlée (5/10). Taste is on bitter side. Maybe the sugar was burnt. Vanilla uses real pods so not as intense as I would like, and it ended up being overpowered by the bitter caramelised sugar. I guess i you dont like sweet can try? Service was alright. Given that it was near closing the staff were probably tired and not as attentive as described in other reviews here. Atmosphere was okay. Maybe music can be less loud. On the pricey side but Im sure the chef did pour their heart and soul into the food. Food arrives a bit slow so need patience. Will try other options next time.

Surprise find, nice setup and owner run. Incredible food, serving took a bit of time given limited kitchen staff but worth the wait. We were given the wrong dish but close to something we ordered, it was a happy mistake as they gave us a treat (free food). Parking was easy on a Sunday. Prove that there is nice western food outside big cities.
